Bonfire 2009

Remember, remember the 5th of November..

Guy Fawkes Night (Bonfire Night) is an annual celebration on the evening of 5 November. It marks the downfall of the Gunpowder Plot of 5 November 1605, in which a number of Catholic conspirators, including Guy Fawkes, attempted to blow up the Houses of Parliament, in London, United Kingdom.

In Leeds the Bonfire Night will be located at the Woodhouse Moor, Hyde Park (see map below) and the bonfire lighting will start at 7:00pm. There will also be firework display which will be at 7:30pm. Other than that, there will be street performances, rides and whole lot of fun!! So why not give it a go!
